Play Is the
Point.
One Eighty Club had darts. We built the brand, the rituals, and the culture around it.

Overview
More Than Darts.
It's Your Night at Play.
One Eighty Club turns darts into the hero of the night out. With alcohol being the only social fuel in standard pubs, darts become the engine driving One Eighty; a shared, active focus that does not just pass the time but accelerates social connection. It is competitive but light-hearted. You do not need to know how to play to have fun, yet you always come back for more.

The Challenge
Insights That
Shaped the Work
Darts Had No Brand Identity in India
Darts is a sport with deep culture elsewhere but near-zero brand presence in the Indian nightlife context. The opportunity was wide open but needed to be owned clearly.
Pubs Rely on Alcohol as the Only Social Glue
Standard pub culture puts drinks first and conversation second. One Eighty needed to flip that model with a shared activity that forces interaction from the moment guests walk in.
A Venue Needs More Than a Concept
Having a dart board is not a brand. One Eighty needed rituals, a voice, a staff culture, and an F&B strategy that all served the same idea: play as the engine of the night.

Strategic Approach
How We
Thought About It
Every decision traced back to one question: what if a night out was less about where we sit and more about what we play?
01
Make the Game the Product
Darts are not a feature tucked into a corner. They are the entire reason to come in. Everything else, the food, the drinks, the staff, orbits the board.
02
Design for Energy, Not Atmosphere
Most venues try to create ambience. One Eighty creates energy. That means rituals, hosts, and F&B all designed to accelerate social connection rather than just support it.
03
Turn Play Into Culture
One visit is a night out. Repeat visits are culture. We built ritual cues, a leaderboard system, and signature moments designed to make guests want to come back and bring more people.
How the Work Unfolded

The Brand Idea
One Central Idea:
Play as Culture
Darts are not the entertainment. Darts are the engine. One Eighty is play turned into culture, where the board is the spark but the real win is the energy of the place and its people.
Positioning
The Antidote to Awkward Silences
Not a pub with darts. A social catalyst that uses darts as the mechanism to force interaction, build team energy, and create memories worth repeating.
Brand Voice
The Friend Who Gets the Game Going
Banter-led, playful, never childish. Witty and conversational, like the person in the group who makes sure nobody fades into the background.
Market Moment
India's Old-School Game Night, Reimagined
Darts as the modern heir to carrom, cards, and snooker. The nostalgia of competitive fun nights translated into a premium social venue for the now.
Core Tagline

Rituals and Experience Design
From One Night
to a Culture
We conceptualize ritual cues for One Eighty Club to turn single visits into something worth returning for. While tech enabled darts is the soul of the space, building upon experience design as a pillar we conceptualized several ritual cues for different moments of the night. Some are seeds. Some are already the heartbeat of the space. All of them point in the same direction: play that becomes culture.
A Night at One Eighty
You arrive
The Game Starts
No awkward "where do we sit." You pick up the darts and the night begins.
Mid-game
The Bullseye Bell Rings
Someone hits it. The whole room reacts. You are officially part of something.
First loss
The Loser's Menu Arrives
Nobody sulks. The Wing of Shame shows up and the table erupts.
The bar
The One Eighty Pour
Twice a night, the bar puts on a show. Everyone looks up. Nobody forgets it.
You leave
"Same Time Next Friday?"
Your name is on the leaderboard. There is unfinished business.
Signature Ritual
The One Eighty Pour
Theatre at the bar. A dramatic, timed ritual that happens just twice in a night, pulling every eye in the room for thirty seconds before the energy snaps right back to the oches. A shared moment of spectacle that guests start looking forward to before they even arrive.
Community Ritual
The Leaderboard Ritual
Weekly score reset. Top names pinned near the bar for everyone to see. It is a small thing that does a big job: giving guests a visible reason to come back, bring a better crew, and finish what they started last Friday.
How We Sound
A Brand Voice
Built for Banter
Five tonal principles that govern everything from in-venue scripts to social captions. Consistent energy, never the same joke twice.
PlayfulNot Childish
Always about energy, cheek, and interaction. Keeps things light without dumbing things down.
InvitingNot Intimidating
We make new players feel like pros in minutes. Nobody should feel like they need to know darts to have fun here.
Banter-LedNot Broadcast
Witty, conversational, quip-filled. Staff and brand speak like the friend who gets the game going.
CuriousNot Cliched
We highlight the novelty of darts in India without exoticising it. Fresh angle, every time.
Confidently CasualNo Pomp
Modern, vibrant, social-first. No baggage. No formality. The energy of the best night out you did not plan.

F&B Direction
Food and Drinks
Become Part of Play
Small plates, big plates, nibbles. F&B at One Eighty is not the main act, but it seamlessly becomes part of the culture. Designed around how people actually play and socialise, stepping away from the rigidity of starters, mains, and desserts. Every round has something to bite into, pass around, and cheer over.
Fuel for Play
Small bites that keep the energy alive mid-game. Designed to be ordered fast, eaten with one hand, and passed across the pod without breaking a throw.
Plates to Belong
Sharing boards and group dishes that bring the table together. The format that turns strangers into teammates and colleagues into rivals.
The Encore
Saved for big wins, settled rivalries, or moments of redemption. The dish or drink that marks the end of a round worth remembering.
The Redemption Round
The Loser's Menu, surprise shots, and playful consequences. Losing a game at One Eighty is not the end. It is the start of a laugh.
